Safety is always a concern when it comes to applications that require our 100% concentration or focus and that focus is the action on the screen of our devices. It has been noted that any interaction with our devices detracts us from the real world and the level of immersion can present a clear danger to us unknowingly. Even as adults we except that responsibility as part of grown-up life, like no texting while you are driving. The same cannot be said for children, it is our responsibility to ensure they have a safe environment to enjoy leisure activities whether it is video games at home or baseball at the park. Parents should always know what apps are installed on your child's phone, engage with your kids about the their experiences and make sure they are safe while they are online.
